New Hampshire is a lot prettier especially now that the snow's melted. I've found several places within walking distance of my house where I can sit and read when I'm done with work for the day. One of them involves sliding down a loose dirt hill and hoping not to fall, but I can live with that.
My husband took me to a park the other day. It's not a park in the way I'm used to -- I mean, there's a playground, but then there's a shortish walk through the park, up a hill and to a stone pavilion in the middle of a field.
There's some graffiti in there that Ian said didn't used to be there, but it's a really nice place. (Also, we saw a computer tower-shaped rock and Ian said, "Look, a computer from the stone age.") We sat up there for awhile playing with Odie. I wanted to stay all afternoon, but it was cold and we had things to do.
I'm not entirely sure Odie wanted to leave either. But then, he always seems super happy.
See what I mean?
